I went over the full manual to my camera with a fine-tooth comb when I first got it. But I still periodically discover something new. I'm very excited about today's new find.

My neighbor's yard is usually a mess, so I couldn't resist the pretty morning sunlight on their momentarily orderly space. They're the only people on the block with a mailbox near the road, rather than on the house. I wonder how that came about.

161: Trinity Knot

I surprised myself by finishing the trinity knot, the centerpiece to the backsplash, in one afternoon. Hope that's a good sign for the rest of the piece.

159: More Farm Buildings

On our last day in Pearisburg, we visited two more buildings on the farm property. The first was the sheep barn, empty after a brief check-up of part of the herd.

Before we left, we toured the new house, which the homeowners hope to move into this fall. This is the view from a study on the top floor.
