This wonderful pipe rack belonged to my husband's grandfather. My husband doesn't smoke, but when the pipe rack was offered to him, he knew immediately how he would use it.
They ARE chisels! My husband always says a blacksmith makes his own tools. :) He uses them mostly for techniques like chasing and repousee. Here's a link that explains those terms if you're interested: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Repousee
