A model of the S.S. Quanza at the Virginia Historical Society. The original was not so little, and usually traveled between Portugal and South Africa. In 1940, it carried refugees from Nazi-occupied Europe to North America, ultimately landing in Norfolk, Virginia. During our visit to the museum, the attention span of the youngest visitors in our party allowed for little time to read exhibit labels, but I discovered this video later.
Another image from our visit. Can you tell what it is?
I love that second shot! It is the inside of a juke box right?
