169: Heirloom

I baked some delicious muffins this weekend in order to make use of some leftover fruit stashed away in the freezer. The muffin tins I used once belonged to Honey, one of my paternal great-grandmothers. I pull these tins out quite frequently, and every time I find myself marveling at the beauty of these functional items.

  1. I agree - it has a quiet reverence

  2. Thank you, ladies. One thing I didn't mention in the post is that the towel was a gift from my sister. The kitchen is the place in my house I most frequently feel surrounded by the spirits of the women in my life.

  3. Same towel as the more recent pic, 184: Folds. :) I just keep hoping I'm not using the same objects *too* often.
