19: Early Start


My daughter and I were up for the day before 5 a.m. As long as we were up, we got busy, each in our own way.


It looked to be a long afternoon. Thank goodness we had plenty of fuel: sunshine, and of course, coffee.

    Thanks, Amy. I've been grappling with the statement I want to make with this project. Do I want to continue in this autobiographical nature, or do I have something else to say? In my mosaics, I struggled to find a voice for a few years and have only just begun to find it. I'm not even three weeks in here, so I'm trying to be patient and trust the journey.
